Description
The City of Bellevue is soliciting proposals to establish one or more on-call contractors for non-routine arboricultural and vegetation maintenance services at various city-owned properties, trails, easements, street rights-of-way, facilities, and pedestrian access routes. Work may include hazardous tree removal; pruning and root pruning; brush and invasive plant removal; vegetation clearance around streets, sidewalks, signals, signs, and utilities; stump grinding; tree evaluations; emergency response within eight hours; and work near high-voltage lines using line-certified crews. The three-year contract will be performed on a task-order basis, with individual projects or work orders limited to under $90,000. Contractors must provide labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, traffic control, waste disposal, and applicable permits. Proposals must demonstrate relevant experience, including at least five years of related experience and experience with municipal or regulatory entities, and must include the required signed proposal, cost, qualification, non-collusion, and equal-opportunity forms. The solicitation requires prevailing-wage compliance and specifies insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, employer's liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
