Description
The City of Middletown is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of liquid carbon dioxide to its water treatment plant. Estimated annual quantity is approximately 267 tons, delivered in approximately 25-ton tanker-truck shipments within 72 hours after receipt of each order. Pricing must include freight and other delivery charges, and the product must meet applicable American Water Works Association and U.S. Food and Drug Administration specifications, be approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the National Sanitation Foundation, and comply with Ohio Administrative Code requirements. Bidders must provide complete product specifications, Material Safety Data Sheets, chemical analysis information, and an affidavit from the manufacturer or supplier confirming compliance with AWWA Standard B510-18. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with an optional additional 12-month renewal at the same price and conditions. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms by sealed delivery; email and fax submissions are not accepted.
