The City of Oak Ridge, through the Oak Ridge Police Department, is soliciting proposals for one complete, integrated mission-critical public-safety technology solution. The anticipated initial quantities are 74 body-worn cameras, 50 in-car video camera systems with automated license plate recognition capabilities, and 74 less-lethal energy weapons. The solution must include associated hardware, software, cloud-based digital evidence management, storage, connectivity, installation, integration, training, warranty, technical support, security, reporting, and lifecycle management. The less-lethal energy weapons are a mandatory component, but the respondent may furnish them through an authorized reseller, subcontractor, technology partner, supplier, or other appropriate arrangement. The successful respondent must remain the single point of accountability for the complete solution. Addendum One confirms that existing vehicle video equipment must be removed during installation, installations may occur at the police department parking lot or another location to be determined, and up to 5–7 vehicles may be made available per day during weekday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The addendum also confirms that docking stations for body-worn cameras are optional and requires respondents to acknowledge receipt of the addendum.
