Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is requesting cellular fire alarm monitoring for an existing Honeywell Fire-Lite system at the Monroe County Health Department. The awarded contractor must monitor the system 24 hours a day, seven days a week; contact the facility or designated representative when the system activates; and notify the appropriate fire department or law-enforcement agency for each activation. The scope also includes as-needed fire alarm repair and service, priced either hourly or by service call. Services are invoiced monthly with the service dates and amounts billed. The initial contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with renewal options for up to five years and a total potential cost of up to $25,000.
