Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is requesting cellular monitoring of an existing fire alarm system 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the period October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. When the alarm activates, the awarded vendor must contact the facility or designated representative and the appropriate agency, such as the fire department or law enforcement. The scope also includes as-needed fire alarm repair and service, with pricing provided as either an hourly rate or service-call amount. Services must be invoiced monthly with the specific service dates and amounts billed. The contract is for 12 months, with options to renew for up to five years and a total potential cost of up to $25,000; the agency reserves the right not to award based on budget restrictions.
