Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is seeking a contractor to monitor an existing fire alarm system 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using cellular monitoring. When an alarm activates, the contractor must contact the facility or designated representative and the appropriate fire department or law-enforcement agency. The scope also includes fire alarm repair or service when needed, priced either by hourly rate or service call. Monitoring and repair services are requested for October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed for up to five years, with a total cost not to exceed $25,000; the agency reserves the right not to award based on budget restrictions. Services must be invoiced monthly with service dates and amounts billed.
