Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is seeking a contractor to monitor an existing fire alarm system 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using cellular monitoring. When an alarm activates, the contractor must contact the facility or designated representative and notify the appropriate fire department or law-enforcement agency. Services must be invoiced monthly with the service dates and billed amounts identified. The scope also includes as-needed fire alarm repair and service, with pricing provided as either an hourly rate or a service-call amount. The initial contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with renewal options for up to five years and a total contract cost of up to $25,000. The agency reserves the right not to award based on budget restrictions.
