Description
The City of Dalton, Georgia is soliciting bids for the Hangar Roof Rehabilitation Project (AIR202601) at the Dalton Municipal Airport. This project involves roofing improvements to an existing airport hangar, approximately 140 feet by 110 feet. The scope includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in strict accordance with the provided plans and specifications. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST at the Dalton Municipal Airport, 4483 Airport Rd, Dalton, GA 30721. Bids must be submitted by Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST to City Hall, 300 W. Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720. A bidder's bond of 5% of the total proposal amount is required with each proposal. Additionally, a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond will be required upon contract execution. All work must be completed within 30 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed.
