Description
Dalton Public Schools is soliciting proposals for Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for modifications to Park Creek Elementary School. The project scope includes reroofing the existing building with new standing seam metal roof, TPO roofing, and architectural shingles. It also involves demolition, additions, and modifications to the front entrance canopy, partial HVAC replacement, and site improvements such as drives and parking lots. Additional renovations and modifications to the existing building are also included. The selected Construction Management firm will be responsible for pre-construction services, including pricing, value engineering, and developing an overall project schedule and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). During the construction phase, the CMAR will manage methods of construction, safety, and the coordination of all subcontractors. The project is funded by a combination of State and Local funds.
