Description
The City of Fort Myers is seeking a qualified professional engineer and architectural team to provide site-specific residential elevation design and related services for participating properties in the Dean Park Historic District. The project may involve up to approximately 35 single-family residences, with services authorized through written, property-specific task orders under an on-call indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity professional services contract; the number of task orders and properties is not guaranteed. The scope includes site evaluations, surveying and elevation data, structural assessments, flood-resistant foundation and elevation design, signed and sealed construction documents, permitting support, FEMA/FDEM compliance documentation, historic preservation and Section 106 coordination, bidding support, and limited construction-phase support when separately authorized. Designs must address applicable FEMA HMGP, NFIP, Florida Building Code, ASCE 24, floodplain, environmental, and historic-preservation requirements. Responses must be submitted as one signed PDF through the City's OpenGov portal, including the required questionnaire responses, qualifications and evaluation-criteria materials, certifications, affidavits, licenses or permits, SAM.gov registration documentation, corporate records, W-9, and other specified supporting documents.
