Description
Weber State University has issued a notice of intent to award a contract without a standard competitive procurement for an event ticketing system, identifying Paciolan as the incumbent platform. The attached justification compares the incumbent with an alternative SaaS platform over FY 2027-FY 2033 and discusses subscription and transaction fees, hosting, hardware support, payment processing and PCI compliance, secondary-market integration, account management, and switching costs. Suppliers wishing to challenge the proposed sole-source award must submit the name of the contesting party and a detailed explanation with supporting documentation showing competing sources. Responses should also document the supplier's ability to provide a comparable or better solution and, if transitional costs are identified as the justification, provide a comparison of anticipated transition costs. No action is required from suppliers who agree with the notice.
