Description
The University of Texas at Austin seeks one or more strategic partners to manage secondary-market ticket inventory on a consignment basis. Services include developing inventory-consolidation and sales strategies; providing pricing analytics and market data; distributing and transferring tickets through resale marketplaces; handling customer service, refunds, and ticket issues; and providing real-time and scheduled sales, inventory, and financial reports. Vendors must disclose their revenue-share model, fees, commissions, and marketplace costs, and remit consignment proceeds with reconciliation reports after events. The university may make multiple awards and does not guarantee minimum quantities or spending. The agreement is anticipated to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with up to four additional one-year renewals. Respondents must demonstrate at least five years of relevant collegiate or professional sports experience and financial strength, and provide at least three references each from Power 4 collegiate partners and professional sports and entertainment partners from the past five years. The response also requires detailed qualifications, service methodology, implementation and risk plans, pricing, and responses to the university’s accessibility, electronic-resource, and information-security requirements.
