Description
The City seeks a qualified carnival operator to furnish, install, operate, and remove a complete midway for its annual Cherry Festival, including amusement rides, games, attractions, trained staff, safety and maintenance operations, temporary infrastructure, and site coordination. The operator must also provide an event ticketing system supporting advance online and on-site admission sales, electronic validation, carnival products, approved promotions, revenue tracking, customer support, and post-event reconciliation. Food and beverage sales are excluded unless separately authorized in writing. Proposals must describe the proposed attractions and guaranteed minimum inventory, site layout, staffing and safety plans, ticketing system, pricing and fees, financial arrangement, schedule, and comparable experience. Submit a proposal and a separate cost proposal through the PlanetBids portal. The initial agreement covers the 2027, 2028, and 2029 festivals, with up to two additional one-year extensions.
