Description
Weber State University seeks architectural design services for the redesign of its men's and women's basketball locker rooms, women's softball locker room, and basketball team room. The scope includes drawings and specifications, bid assistance, construction-phase architectural services, and post-construction services. The architect will also support the university in procuring a qualified construction contractor. The selected firm must make the project its top priority and may not bench or subcontract out the work. The response must include a letter of transmittal, a statement of qualifications, and a project schedule. The statement of qualifications must address the firm's financial viability, relevant experience and expertise, assigned project manager and site superintendent, project delivery record, design quality, and proposed team and subconsultants. It must include at least three similar projects and at least five customer references. The project schedule must support bid-ready drawings and specifications by March 1, 2027, with construction planned for the 2027 summer semester.
