Description
Ogden City Corporation seeks statements of qualifications from civil engineering firms experienced in drinking-water source-to-tap water quality assessment and control. The work includes water-quality monitoring and risk assessment; pipe-deposit sampling and characterization; planning and conducting water-main cleaning trials; evaluating treatment alternatives and conducting bench- and pilot-scale testing; and developing a comprehensive unidirectional flushing program with field journals and water-quality data interpretation. The SOQ must address firm and personnel qualifications, relevant project experience, technical capabilities, schedule compliance, client references, and resumes. The project has multiple phases, with stated not-to-exceed amounts of $226,550 for Phase 2 and $623,150 for Phases 3 and 4. Federal funding compliance requirements may apply. The selected firm must maintain specified insurance coverage; insurance evidence is required before work begins.
