Description
Harris County seeks qualified organizations to provide voluntary, community-based youth development services for eligible youth and families in the Gulfton/Southwest and Pasadena service areas. Proposals may cover one or more service components and either or both service areas. Components include youth advisory councils, leadership development, post-high-school readiness, academic support, arts enrichment, sports and movement, and family-focused activities. Services should promote positive youth development, strengthen protective factors and family relationships, support school engagement, and reduce risk factors associated with juvenile delinquency. Providers must describe their proposed service locations, population, enrollment targets, schedules, staffing, program model, outreach and retention strategies, and measurable outcomes. The anticipated contract term is one year, with up to four one-year renewal options. Approximately $458,500 is anticipated for the program during Fiscal Year 2027; the County may make multiple awards by service component or geographic area.
