Description
The selected contractor will operate OhioKAN statewide across all 88 counties, providing direct navigation, coordination, information, and referral services to kinship caregivers and post-adoptive families. The work includes PASSS application coordination, regional partner oversight, statewide outreach, advisory council coordination, workforce recruitment and training, and maintaining fidelity to the OhioKAN program model. The contractor must also manage the program’s phone line and develop, operate, and maintain its public-facing Information Hub, referral functionality, and related systems in coordination with the State. The contractor will maintain program documentation and data, including SACWIS records, and submit recurring reports on service delivery, staffing, training, outreach, referrals, performance, and continuous quality improvement. Implementation deliverables include plans for program management, staffing, training, outreach, quality improvement, and technology, as well as an Information Hub and operational readiness activities. The RFP provides for an initial contract term through June 30, 2029, with up to two additional two-year renewal terms.
