Description
The City of Huntsville is soliciting vendors to supply new, unused safety work boots meeting applicable ASTM foot-protection and/or OSHA requirements. Boots must generally use full-grain leather, include cushion insoles, and be brown/tan or black. Vendors may offer any combination of brands and models, including catalog, non-catalog, drop-shipped, and special-order products, with pricing based on MSRP or catalog-price discounts. The City estimates annual usage of approximately 150 boots and may increase or decrease quantities without adjusting unit prices. Vendors should identify brands, model numbers, in-store availability, MSRP, discounts, final prices, storefront availability, delivery charges, and any exceptions or substitutions. Preference will be given to vendors with a storefront in Huntsville or Walker County, Texas; vendors without a local storefront must provide FOB-destination delivery to the City of Huntsville Service Center. The contract term is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with four one-year renewal options. The response must include the completed solicitation documents, price chart, required references, and evidence of insurability.
