Description
The Saint Louis Zoo is soliciting proposals for one or both of two scopes: an employee uniform program and a company store/corporate logo apparel program. Scope A requires vendors to price the Zoo's existing uniform assortment, including polos, shirts, hats, sweatshirts, pants, shorts, and jackets, with approved logo embroidery, fulfillment, shipping, and any setup or digitizing costs. Scope B requires a representative assortment of branded apparel such as polos, T-shirts, hats, outerwear, jackets, vests, sweatshirts, and quarter-zip pullovers, with embroidery on all apparel and hats. The solicitation excludes security, retail, culinary and catering, facilities maintenance, and special-event apparel, which are procured separately. Vendors may propose substitutions for Scope A only where an exact current item cannot be supplied, subject to Zoo approval. Proposals must describe the ordering platform, administrative controls, employee and departmental purchasing, allotment management, data security, accessibility, reporting, inventory and fulfillment models, customer service, returns, account management, ethical sourcing, and transition planning. Scope A uniform orders are intended for delivery to Zoo distribution centers, while company-store orders are intended for direct-to-employee shipping. The proposal must include the applicable pricing workbook(s), store proposal if applicable, platform and technology information, fulfillment and customer service approach, implementation and transition plan, account-management and organizational-capacity information, three client references, the Appendix A cost proposal, required disclosures and certifications, and any exceptions or deviations. The contract is expected to run from January 1, 2027, or the date of last authorized signature, through December 31, 2028, with two additional one-year renewal options.
