Description
Pennfield Schools is soliciting proposals for comprehensive improvements to the Pennfield High School varsity baseball and softball facilities. The work includes surveying and site verification; drainage, grading, irrigation, turf, infield, pitching-area, fencing, gate, backstop, dugout, bullpen, batting-cage, protective-netting, seating, accessibility, circulation, and field-access improvements; installation of bases and other play accessories; restoration; testing; and closeout documentation. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, coordination, safety measures, quality control, warranties, and establishment-maintenance plans. Proposals must address technical approach, materials, assumptions, schedule and phasing, logistics, safety, team qualifications, comparable athletic-field projects, licenses, insurance and bonding capacity, required certifications and disclosures, pricing for base bids, alternates, and unit prices, and value-engineering options. The district may award the work as one contract, by field, by bid package, or through combinations of base bids and alternates. The draft documents state that the final solicitation and contract remain subject to legal and design-professional review.
