Description
The Port of Houston Authority seeks qualified insurance organizations to provide property and casualty insurance coverage and related services through its designated broker of record. The program encompasses property, equipment, terrorism, general liability, excess workers’ compensation, marine hull and protection and indemnity, pollution, public officials, crime, special events, builders’ and machinery coverage, and other miscellaneous coverages. Proposals should meet the minimum requirements in Attachment A; alternatives involving deductibles, self-insured retentions, limits, or deviations must be clearly explained. Price, proposer qualifications and experience, coverage benefits, and responsiveness will be evaluated. The insurance coverage is scheduled to take effect March 1, 2027.
