Description
The project involves constructing approximately 1,143 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer line, seven manholes, and 20 new single- or double-service leads. Work also includes decommissioning approximately 60 existing onsite sewage facilities, reconfiguring plumbing at approximately 40 homes to connect to the new sewer service lines, implementing traffic control and stormwater pollution prevention measures, installing project signs, and restoring damaged pavement and disturbed areas. The contractor must complete the work within 300 calendar days and provide evidence of successfully completed sanitary sewer installations exceeding 20,000 linear feet of pipe at least 8 inches in diameter. The bid package also requires a bid guarantee and, after award, performance and payment bonds as applicable.
