Description
Clark County Public Works seeks a qualified consultant for as-needed pavement engineering services under a single contract. Work may include pavement inspections and field evaluations; nondestructive testing and analysis, including falling weight deflectometer testing, ground-penetrating radar, and coring; pavement design and treatment recommendations; and diagnosis of pavement distresses. The consultant will also support the pavement preservation program, quality-control processes, grant-project evaluation, multiyear planning and budget forecasts, and the County’s PAVER pavement management system, including technical support and advanced training. The contract has a stated four-year term, with a possible one-year extension, and a total anticipated expenditure not to exceed $500,000. Work will be assigned as needs arise, with task-specific scopes, schedules, and compensation established before work begins. Proposals must not include pricing. The proposal is limited to four pages, excluding resumes, the cover sheet, and the debarment certification form.
