Description
The University of Connecticut Health Center is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to provide outsourced collection and accounts-receivable follow-up services for Workers’ Compensation, Veterans Affairs, and other complex healthcare claims. The selected provider will support the full account lifecycle, maximize reimbursement, manage claim-specific workflows, address coordination-of-benefits issues, provide reporting and performance metrics, and support compliance with applicable Workers’ Compensation and Veterans Affairs requirements. The scope requires Epic integration or related data-exchange capabilities, including interfaces, file transfers, work queues, documentation, reconciliation, reporting, cybersecurity controls, and implementation support. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of comparable experience, provide three current and one previous client references, identify assigned personnel and organizational resources, submit implementation and transition plans, and answer extensive operational, technical, security, and pricing questions. Subcontracting and offshoring are not allowed.
