Description
The City of Fairfield, Ohio is soliciting bids for the rebid of the Great Miami River Trail extension from Waterworks Park to just south of Gamay Lane at the existing terminus within Marsh Park. The project includes approximately 6,000 feet of new 11-foot-wide asphalt shared-use path and overlay of approximately 3,500 feet of existing 10-foot-wide shared-use path, plus a new pedestrian crossing with rectangular rapid flashing beacons at River Road just west of Groh Lane. Work also includes tree removal after October 1, earthwork, asphalt and concrete work, pavement markings, signage, tree planting, seeding, mulching, maintenance of traffic, and coordination related to drainage and utilities. Alternates shown on the plans are included in the base bid. The engineer's estimate is $1,731,000.
