Description
The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting boiler maintenance and repair services for equipment at the Justice Joseph A. Rattigan State Building (#480). The 36-month agreement requires preventive maintenance, testing, technical support, foreseeable and unforeseeable repairs, emergency repair response, parts replacement, reporting, and related labor, equipment, and materials. Services cover boilers, pumps, burners, valves, safety controls, heat exchangers, combustion equipment, and associated systems. Bidders must hold a valid California Class C-4 Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting Contractor license, register with the Department of Industrial Relations when required, and comply with prevailing-wage requirements. The solicitation requires three or more similar references from the past five years, current proof of general liability, commercial automobile, and workers' compensation insurance, and at least 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation. The bid package includes required certification, declaration, payee, reference, insurance, and cost-sheet attachments.
