Description
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Department of Education, is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to administer Nevada Student Assessments required under the Every Student Succeeds Act and Nevada law. The scope includes Mathematics and English Language Arts assessments for grades 3–8; Science assessments for grades 5, 8, and high school; and an alternate assessment for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities. The selected vendor must align assessments with Nevada Academic Content Standards and Nevada Academic Content Standard Connectors and provide valid, reliable testing and comprehensive proficiency reporting for students, families, schools, school districts, and the State. Required capabilities include an intuitive student testing platform, pre-assessment activities such as student rostering and test-session creation, reporting tools, customer support, project management, and demonstrated alignment with Nevada standards. The State intends to award one contract with an initial four-year term and two possible one-year extensions. Responses must include separate technical, cost, and confidential-business-information submissions, along with the specified certifications and vendor information materials.
