Description
The City of Thomson is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Westwood Pump Station Rehabilitation project. The scope includes furnishing materials and equipment and performing labor for mobilization and demobilization, bonds and insurance, demolition, temporary bypass pumping, pumps, valves, electrical and mechanical work, approximately 500 linear feet of 8-inch PVC force main, coatings, painting, and all related work shown in the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded under one contract and has a 240-calendar-day completion period. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN.com; paper submissions are not accepted. Bidders must complete the Qualifications of Bidder section, hold a valid Georgia Utility Contractor license, employ a certified Utility Manager, and submit proof of the license. The bid must include a bid bond or certified cashier’s check of at least 10% of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. A completed E-Verify compliance affidavit is mandatory with the bid.
