Description
The City of Augusta, through the Augusta-Richmond County Recreation and Parks Department, is soliciting sealed bids for pedestrian improvements along 15th Street between Government Road and Laney Walker Boulevard. The work is categorized as construction/public works and includes sidewalk and pedestrian/handicap-ramp improvements, along with associated highway, road, grading, and site-maintenance work described in the plans and specifications. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually on October 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Bids must be submitted by mail, courier, or hand delivery; email submissions are not accepted. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid, and 100% performance and payment bonds are required at award.
