Description
The City seeks licensed, doctoral-level psychologists or psychiatrists with forensic or public safety experience to conduct fitness-for-duty evaluations and psychological independent medical examinations for police personnel. Evaluations may include validated psychological testing, clinical interviews, and review of agency records, with written determinations of fitness for essential job functions and recommendations concerning treatment, monitoring, or return-to-work conditions. Evaluators must be independent of any prior treating relationship with the officer and familiar with law enforcement job functions and applicable professional and legal requirements. The response must include a firm overview, qualifications and similar project experience, key project team information, and at least three references. The solicitation also requires the financial disclosure, prior non-responsibility disclosure, workforce diversity form, non-collusive certification, non-discrimination questionnaire responses, data-sharing disclosure response, and proposal confirmation. The contract term is three years from execution, with two one-year renewal options.
