Description
Gardner Edgerton School District is soliciting sealed bids for removal of approximately 33,993 square feet of existing carpet and base, preparation of the underlying concrete slab, and installation of new carpet tile, 4-inch vinyl resilient base, transitions, and thresholds at Moonlight Elementary. The base bid must include 2% attic stock for each carpet style and resilient-base material, a $4,000 contingency allowance, removal and disposal, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, and all installation work. The specified carpet is Patcraft Infinite Wisdom Solution, style 00425, with a 1/4-turn installation; the walk-off carpet is Patcraft Walk Right in II, style 10304 Navy. No substitutions are permitted for carpet. Work may commence June 1, 2027, and must be substantially complete by August 2, 2027. A one-year workmanship warranty is required, and the contractor must provide required insurance, a 5% bid security when the bid total is $40,000 or more, and 100% performance and payment bonds if awarded.
