Description
Upper Gwynedd Township is soliciting bids for an as-needed, standby equipment-rental contract for winter snow removal from January 1 through December 31, 2027. The requested equipment consists of 5-ton, 10-ton, and 15-ton dump trucks with plows and operators, plus a rubber-tire loader with operator and a minimum one-cubic-yard capacity. Bidders may submit hourly rates for the equipment they wish to provide; the listed usage estimates are for bid calculation only and do not guarantee a minimum number of hours. The contractor must maintain the equipment, provide fuel, antifreeze, operators, and necessary operating attachments, and make equipment available within three hours of notification. The bid requires a 10% bid bond or certified check, a notarized statement of qualifications, and an executed non-collusion affidavit. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment security, insurance documentation, and specified employment and workers' compensation forms after award.
