Description
The City of Cleveland is soliciting a contractor to provide snow maintenance for approximately 75 residences serving seniors and adults with disabilities. Services include shoveling or blowing snow from paths, driveways, sidewalks, and service ramps; applying salt or de-icer; inspecting properties before work; documenting existing conditions and completed work with digital photographs; and submitting weekly work records and photographs. The snow maintenance season is scheduled for December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, with service generally required within 24–48 hours after snowfalls of three inches or more. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, transportation, fuel, personal protective equipment, marked vehicles or branded apparel, and experienced personnel. The bid may not exceed $25,000 per year. Bidders must provide a notarized qualifications statement, references or examples of three previous contracts, personnel and experience information, operating-facility information, equipment details, an Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation certificate, and required City disclosure forms. Subcontracting is prohibited.
