Description
The City of Little Rock is soliciting heavy construction services to repair a landslide in the riverbank and construct a section of multi-use trail connecting the Arkansas River Trail Bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad to the Medical Mile segment of the Arkansas River along the south bank of the Arkansas River. The solicitation includes plans, a scope of work, slide-repair and trail-connector special provisions, and a unit-price schedule. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond, a bid for physical improvements, the completed unit-price schedule, a statement of bidders' qualifications with supporting documents, proof of a current Arkansas state contractor's license or certification, and completed City of Little Rock contracting certifications. A City of Little Rock business license and joint-venture affidavit are optional when applicable. Performance and payment bonds and insurance documentation are required before contract award rather than with the bid.
