Description
Central Arkansas Water is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional firms to conduct an independent, science-based technical review of its 2007 Lake Maumelle Watershed Management Plan. The work includes evaluating changes in land use, hydrology, water quality, forest conditions, regulatory context, implementation outcomes, and the plan’s scientific assumptions and recommendations. The selected consultant will review and update relevant models and datasets; assess watershed and lake health; evaluate best management practices and current standards; prepare GIS-based maps, technical recommendations, redline/track-change suggestions, and a Watershed Management Plan Implementation Scorecard; and present findings to Central Arkansas Water executive leadership and its board. Pricing is not requested with the qualifications submission and would be negotiated with the apparent successful respondent for specific projects.
