Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a small-business vendor to provide one Team Eagle ST-1100 Smart Trailer Airfield Deicer, or an equivalent product meeting the stated salient characteristics. The trailer must include a 1,000-gallon poly tank, 3-inch product pump, 13-horsepower Honda electric-start engine, tubular steel frame, powder-coated finish, twin axles with electric brakes, 16-inch 8-lug wheels with 10-ply tires, a heavy-duty jack, 3-inch pintle-hook hitch, and safety chains. The unit must also have manually folding spray booms with breakaway technology and adjustable coverage from 8 to 50 feet, variable-orifice spray nozzles, a GVS speed sensor supporting vehicle speeds from 1 to 35 mph, anti-drip nozzle shutoff, and a cab-mountable smart spray controller. The requirement includes delivery and one day of on-site training on operation. Offers must include a completed SF 1449 or solicitation pricing information, a technical description demonstrating compliance, warranty terms, pricing and discount terms, SAM registration information, CAGE code, required representations and certifications, and acknowledgment of amendments. Award will be based on price and technical acceptability; equal products must be clearly identified and supported by descriptive literature and any proposed modifications.
