Description
The City of High Point is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to rehabilitate approximately 220 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer line at the High Point Transit System facility using trenchless Cured-In-Place Pipe technology. The existing pipe is approximately 4 inches in diameter and cast iron. The work includes pipe cleaning, CCTV inspections, service reinstatement, quality-control documentation, and all related work necessary for a complete installation. The solicitation requires compliance with applicable ASTM standards and specified material and installation performance criteria. Bidders proposing alternative CIPP systems must provide sufficient technical documentation for City review. Addendum 1 provides optional site visits, and Addendum 2 confirms that no bid bond, pre-bid meeting, additional City-specific license, or project-specific SBE/DBE participation goal is required. Applicable federal DBE requirements still apply. One bid copy is required, and bids may be submitted by email or delivered in accordance with the solicitation instructions; Addendum 2 must be acknowledged with the proposal.
