Description
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation of the existing gravity sewer system in the Washington Park Neighborhood. The work includes cured-in-place pipe lining, pipe bursting, pipe patching, open-cut point repairs, manhole rehabilitation, sewer-service maintenance through bypass pumping, and restoration of pavement, road shoulders, and adjacent property. The scope also includes traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, utility coordination, and incidental work required to complete the sewer and associated-structure rehabilitation. Contractors must hold the licenses required under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A 5% bid bond is required at bid opening, and the awarded contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
