The Bureau of Land Management requires a firm-fixed-price contractor to recover and properly dispose of existing R-22 refrigerant; remove and replace one 2.5-ton split heat pump system, including the outdoor condenser and indoor air handler; install new refrigerant line sets; and evacuate and charge the system with new R-32 refrigerant. The replacement system must include auxiliary or backup electric heat strips, a heat-pump thermostat, a media filter box and filter, and compatible equipment meeting the stated capacity and airflow requirements. The amendment confirms that a full indoor and outdoor system replacement is required, not merely a compressor replacement, and that no additional units are required. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, permits, inspections, cleanup, and incidentals, with the work completed during the stated October 30–November 30, 2026 period. Idaho contractor and electrical credentials are acceptable for this federal-facility work.
