Description
The City of Meridian is seeking annual pool maintenance services for its large and kiddie pools. The scope includes pool opening and de-winterization, removal and installation of safety covers, vacuuming, netting, brushing, water-chemistry balancing, chemical delivery and replenishment, filter backwashing, equipment checks, and pool winterization. The contractor must complete de-winterization no later than the third weekend in April and winterization typically during the first or second week of November. Weekly service is expected three to four times per week, with additional visits as needed. Proposals must include all labor, materials, equipment, chemicals, and incidentals required for the work. The successful contractor must have a current Certified Pool Operator certification. The proposal package must address the proposer’s organization, approach, relevant pool-maintenance experience, qualifications and certifications, staff experience and resumes, ability to perform the services independently, and annual pricing. Experience and references are part of the evaluation, and deviations must be identified in a separate document labeled “Exceptions.”
