Description
The City of Meridian is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of the South Junction Box at its Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility. The base bid includes removal and replacement of the existing coating, installation of new access hatches and vents, complete inlet piping modifications, removal and replacement of related components, and associated concrete junction box work. Two bid alternates cover coating of upstream and downstream concrete manholes. The contractor must be licensed as an Idaho Public Works Contractor and must identify mechanical, plumbing, and electrical subcontractors or indicate that the work will be self-performed by properly licensed personnel. The work includes coordination with the City's bypass-pumping operations, construction-site safety and erosion controls, applicable public-works standards, and required project documentation.
