Description
This opportunity seeks a contractor for safety improvements on 2nd Street South in Canyon County. The work includes survey monument preservation, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing bituminous surfaces, concrete sidewalks, and curb and gutter; excavation and granular materials; asphalt paving; sidewalk, curb ramp, and curb-and-gutter construction; illumination; pavement markings; geotextile installation; pedestrian-activated flashing beacons; landscape and irrigation repair; and mobilization. The project also includes erosion and pollution controls, temporary traffic control, pavement repair, surveying, and related miscellaneous and contingency work. The opportunity is identified as federally funded and issued as Call 2 under Key No. 23883.
