Description
Carter County seeks an employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm to serve as its agent of record and support its employee benefit programs, including group medical, life, dental, vision, disability, and voluntary supplemental coverage. Services include plan and claims analysis, evaluating funding and coverage alternatives, marketing and renewal support, carrier negotiations, employee communications and enrollment assistance, compliance guidance, reporting, invoice reconciliation, and support resolving benefits issues. The broker will also advise on plan documents and notices, ACA reporting, and applicable benefits laws and regulations. Proposals must address the numbered questionnaire topics, including firm qualifications, proposed team, comparable client references, service approach, compliance and privacy practices, technology, and fees and compensation. The package also includes a vendor information and anti-collusion form and a Tennessee non-boycott certification. Shortlisted firms may be asked to give a presentation to the Financial Management Committee.
