Description
The project renovates an existing activity classroom into two Career and Technical Education rooms, with associated architectural finishes and structural, mechanical, and electrical modifications. Work includes HVAC changes, sprinkler-system modifications, new LED lighting, and new interior finishes. Additive Alternate No. 1 covers finish upgrades and lighting replacement in the existing media center. Bidders must submit a completed Bid Form, bid security equal to 5% of the maximum bid price, a Contractor’s Qualification Statement, a debarment certification, a Workers’ Compensation Certificate of Coverage, and a Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit. The bid package also requires a bid-time qualification statement with project experience and supporting information. The bid is awarded on the lowest responsive and responsible base bid; the alternate is considered after award. The successful bidder must substantially complete the work within 75 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and achieve final completion within 30 calendar days after substantial completion.
