Description
Bristol Virginia Utilities Authority, a political subdivision of Virginia, is soliciting bids for one outdoor, three-phase, oil-immersed 18/24/30 MVA substation power transformer with 69 kV high-voltage and 13.2 kV low-voltage ratings. The transformer must include automatic and no-load tap changers, forced cooling, specified bushings, current transformers, surge arresters, monitoring and control equipment, nitrogen preservation, accessories, spare parts, and a minimum five-year manufacturer's warranty. The scope includes design, manufacture, factory testing, delivery to the East Bristol Substation, placement on the pad, assembly, oil filling, field inspection and testing, commissioning support, and manufacturer field services. The bid must include product data, drawings, technical submittals, pricing, delivery and completion estimates, Buy America/Build America compliance affidavits, and the required completed attachments. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States. The procurement is funded through the Virginia Grid Reliability Improvement Program.
