Description
The City seeks a single-prime contractor to furnish labor, materials, equipment, and services to install three boreholes and temperature probes at its landfill. Work includes sonic drilling, probe casing and thermocouples, bentonite-grout backfilling, probe termination and temperature-measurement instrumentation, and related safety, environmental protection, odor mitigation, and site-restoration measures. The existing temperature probe control box will be used, and the contractor must provide on-site support during system startup. Bidders must document at least three relevant landfill sonic-drilling and well/probe-construction projects. The bid must include the completed Bid Form, bid security of at least 5% of the bid, and the specified bidder qualifications and supporting materials. The mandatory pre-bid conference has in-person and virtual attendance options; bidders must attend at least one. The work is to reach substantial completion within 150 days and final-payment readiness within 180 days after the contract times commence.
