Description
The Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority seeks a firm to develop insurance marketing strategies, identify insurers, obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate coverage and renewals, administer policies, and advise on insurance markets and policy changes. The program includes airport owners and operators general and excess liability, crime, cyber security liability, environmental liability, workers’ compensation, and vehicles and equipment. Insurers must have an A.M. Best rating of at least A- and a financial size category of at least XI, and be licensed in Michigan. The scope also includes risk-management consulting, operational risk analysis, claims and loss-data management, loss-prevention and risk-control services, review of leases and contractor insurance requirements, and support for insurance certificates and auto ID cards. Proposals must include an executive summary, business organization information, problem statement and recommendations, project staffing, at least three relevant references, and a fee proposal. The agreement is for three years, with two optional one-year extensions.
