Description
Scott County Schools seeks quotes for materials and installation of approximately 505 feet of six-foot-high black chain-link fencing at Nickelsville Elementary and approximately 290 feet at Shoemaker Elementary. The work includes setting posts in yard, asphalt, or concrete surfaces as specified; concrete post-hole fill and site cleanup; and installation or reuse of gates and gate hardware. The Nickelsville project includes reuse of two existing 12-foot gates and additional rails along a 60-foot section. The Shoemaker project includes one new double gate with a 10-foot opening and polyurethane sealant at post penetrations through concrete. Bidders must include a current W-9 and the attached Proof of Authority to Transact Business in Virginia form. Bids may be submitted sealed or by email. A pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled; the solicitation also states that certification regarding certain offenses will be requested as a condition of award.
