Description
The City seeks approximately 58 tactical rifles and approximately 50 of each specified accessory for its Police Department. The requested accessories include suppressors, red-dot sights, weapon lights, remote switches, and slings. The rifle specifications are based on a named platform, but equivalent products may be proposed if the offeror provides documentation demonstrating that they meet or exceed the stated requirements. Proposals must include unit pricing for rifles and accessories, buyback or trade-in values for listed existing firearms, and technical compliance information. The manufacturer must provide a lifetime warranty covering defects and normal wear, as well as a critical-use replacement warranty requiring repair or replacement within 24 hours after the Police Department determines a firearm is inoperable or unsafe for duty use. The offeror must also provide preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, and calibration during the warranty period, and document experience as a licensed firearms dealer serving law enforcement agencies. Delivery is required within 120 calendar days of contract award. The initial contract period runs from execution through the end of the City's fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals.
