Description
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government seeks an experienced insurance broker to market and place its excess property and casualty coverage and provide related risk-management consulting. Services include reviewing existing policies and claims history, developing competitive specifications and obtaining carrier quotes when authorized, evaluating coverage and pricing, advising on risk financing and loss control, supporting claims, and preparing reports. Employee benefits are excluded. Proposers must meet stated experience and licensing qualifications and provide three written references from public entities currently using their services. The proposal must include an executive summary of no more than two pages and a main body of no more than 30 pages, organized into eight specified parts. The appendix must include team-member resumes, evidence of required insurance coverage, and the proposed brokerage-services contract. The submission must also include an Affirmative Action Plan, Current Work Force Analysis Form, signed Equal Opportunity Agreement, completed affidavit, and required documentation of good-faith outreach efforts. The contract has an initial three-year term, renewable by mutual consent annually for up to two additional years.
